• Service Advisor

    Duties

    - Greet customers and listen to their needs, determine service or diagnosis that is required

    - Prepare repair order and communicate service needs to technicians

    - Advise customers about recommended routine maintenance

    - Check vehicle maintenance records and history

    - Verify warranty and service contract coverage, explain provisions and exclusions

    - Complete estimates and obtain customer approval

    - Explain work performed and repair order charges

    - Schedule service appointments, communicate promised times for return of vehicle

    - Check on progress of repair throughout the day and communicate with customers

    - Arrange towing and temporary transportation

    - Participate in educational opportunities and maintain Ford certifications

    - Handle customer service needs

    - Maintain professional appearance and clean environment

    - Ensures customer satisfaction by ensuring work flows smoothly and continuously

    - Other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Experience

    - High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred

    - Six months of automotive service experience or equivalent required, 2+ preferred

    - Detail oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills

    - Basic computer skills

    - Professional appearance

    - Valid driver’s license

  • Quick Lane Automotive Technician

    Want to be part of our winning team? Bird Kultgen is looking for an 
    experienced, friendly, self motivated individual to join our Quick Lane 
    team. As technician, you will use mechanical skills to performance 
    maintenance and get customers back out on the road as quickly as possible!

    Duties

    - Perform vehicle maintenance with efficiency in accordance with factory 
    standards
    - Examine vehicle and determine if further work is required or 
    recommended and assist servicewriters in selling needed services
    - Drain oil from crankcase and refill with proper type and about of oil, 
    replace oil and fuel filters
    - Inspect fluid and air pressure levels, replace as needed
    - Ensures that customers' vehicles are kept clean
    - Maintain shop in very neat and clean manner
    - Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and 
    operates all equipment in a safe manner, report any safety issues 
    immediately to management
    - Coordinate with service advisors
    - Participate in Ford training programs, schools, and events
    - Document all work performed on the repair order
    - Work closely with our team of service managers
    - Other duties as assigned

    Education
    - High school diploma or equivalent desired
    - 6 months of related experience preferred
